Lifting Education to a Higher Level
Hinckley based LTR Lifts and Escalators has been working in conjunction
with Derry Building Services on the construction of two brand new high
schools in Leicestershire.
The Nottingham based mechanical and electrical
engineers Derry Building Services assumed responsibility for all electrical
installations of the brand new builds of Castle Rock High School in Coalville
and Wigston based Bushloe High School. The company employed LTR Lifts and
Escalators to supply and install the required lifts.
Steve King at Derry Building Services comments: "LTR was highly recommended to us by a personal
contact. They provided and fitted one lift at Castle Rock School and a
passenger lift and disabled platform lift at Bushloe High."
The new building of Castle Rock High, which is set in the heart of the National Forest was
finished in April. The school is a secondary state school for pupils aged
11 to 14 from the town of Coalville and the villages of Whitwick, Thringstone
and Swannington.
Bushlow High School was recently completed in June, serving
children aged 10 to 14 who are from the local community of Wigston.
Steve
continues: "These new school buildings are really good developments for
the Leicestershire region and it’s great to have been involved.
"LTR were
very professional and their assistance helped the projects run very smoothly.
I’m confident we’ll work with them again on future projects."
